Duluth Report

The kick off weekend to the national series in Duluth is over!
It's always a stressful round... with new teams, new riders, new formats and mad suspense.
It's the ultimate testing weekend to see where the new factory equipment excels and where the teams need to improve.

Taylor had some bad luck in qualifying on Saturday for the stock class, including some poor starts in which he had to try to come through the pack in a short amount of laps. Then in his second round Taylor and Brett Turcotte were battling back and forth a little to hard causing Turcotte to get a black flag and disqualified from the round, and Taylor having to go to the LCQ.

The Mod classes started off hectic, way to much horse power entering a very small first corner, Taylor came through mid pack and worked his way to a hard earnerd 4th.

Then in round 2 Taylor's rear shock bolt broke in the first down hill, and nearly sent him over the bars as he pogo sticked over the finish line table top. He pulled aside and slowly finished the race just to get points.
He still had enough points to get in to the final. The final consists of 20 riders, 10 in front and 10 in the back row. Steve started in the back row and rode smart the whole time awarding him with a 6th place finish!

The top ten results for the Pro Open Final are as follows :

Tucker Hibbert -Arctic Cat
Ross Martin- Polaris
Levi Lavallee -Polaris
Robbie Malinoski -Polaris
Emil Ohman-SkiDoo
Steve Taylor-Ski-Doo
Cory Davis -Arctic Cat
